Adding students is easy, you create a unique code and email (or just tell) your students. They use the code to add the class. Turn off the code at any time.
You create questions. There are multiple question types (text, file, image, video). Students respond to the assignment questions by the deadline.
You decide what assignment to critique, set the number of peer reviewers, and create critique questions. Critqiue have additional question types include ratings, rubrics, and rank order tasks. You set options on anonymity and privacy.
When the critique deadline is reached, CritViz presents the class a "self curated" leader board, based on peer review ratings and rank orderings. Students can see the best (or worst) work in the class as determined by the group.
Our 30 day free trial is 100% free and does not require credit card information to start. If at the end of your trial you would like to contiune, great, pick a plan. You can seamlessly transition from the free trial to either of the paid plans. If the free trial expires, certain features are disabled (adding new members or new information) but you and your students can still sign in to see and archive any activity created during the trial. Expired trials can be re-activated to a paid plan at any time.
Absolutely. You can switch from the free trial to our paid plans, or switch between our paid plans at any time. You can cancel your account whenever you like. We will adjust payments accordingly.
Of course. Each plan covers a single CritViz class. If you need multiple classes you can add them at any time and payment will be adjusted accordingly. You can even mix the plans having for instance one "Standard" class and one "Large" class running concurrently.
Sorry, the free trial is offered so that you can get to know CritViz. The free trial can only be used once per user. However, the first 30 days of any new paid plan is always free.
Yes, we offer flexible billing periods including any number of months. If your semester is 5 months long you can pay for that all at once.
At the end of the semester or whenever you finish, your class is automatically deactivated. When this happens the instructors and students can still sign in to see any past material, but no new users or material can be added (or deleted). The class stays this way for one year or until you either reactivate or delete the course. After one year the class is automatically deleted.
If you need to switch plans after pre-paying, your account will be adjusted accordingly. You can even add new classes to a pre-paid plan and draw from your pre-paid account. In fact, if you deactivate your class the pre-paid credits stay on file and you can resume at any time, even with a new course or courses.
We accept payments from MasterCard, Visa, Visa Debit and American Express. We accept payment in 139 differenct currencies, but we do not accept PayPal. Remember, you do not need to supply card details to start your free trial.
